Talk about going back in time for a cozy, romantic setting. The service was impeccable, I believe our server was Ally. Her attention to detail and her sweet personality made us feel so welcome. In regards to food, be ready to be taken care of. The menu is timeless, simple yet sophisticated. Always loved Danny's, and look forward to my next visit.

Forgot to take pictures because everything was delicious I ate it all right away. :) The avocado salad was so amazing, definitely will get this every time I come here to start. I had the Naruto roll as well, which was fresh and just the perfect light dinner. I was more impressed by the service, the server was attentive and seamless. I also ordered a very specific drink which was made exactly as I asked. Busy on a Saturday so a good vibe throughout, we also were still seated right away. I will be back!

Went here for our anniversary. The inside is very dark so we opted to sit outside. They make great cocktails and I particularly enjoyed the Aperol Spritz. My husband had a steak and he said it was tasty and I had the pork chop was was delicious. The staff was not the most attentive but it wasn't a big deal since everything else was good. I'd go back but will make sure I don't have the same server.

I was treated to a belated Mother's Day Dinner by our son, his beautiful girlfriend and my Hubby- I love when we can get together because our son and his sweetie have such busy hospital schedules, we don't ever get to spend much time with them, so I was really looking forward to this special occasion for all of us, I wasn't going to pass up a wonderful night with our family. So, reservations were easy to make 6:45p and if you have never been to Danny's, there is a parking structure right behind the restaurant so now, your in the know! We ordered 1 Moscow Mules ( son and girlfriend had brought their 2 from the bar) and I had a wonderful glass of Tempranillo, at the suggestion of our waiter, appetizers were crab bisque and 2 orders of steamed clams to share, which, I have to say, the sauce was absolutely delicious and we couldn't help but dunk the warm rolls that were complimentary, so very good. Dinner was Salmon, Mahi-Mahi, Bell & Evans Chicken and 1/2 rack of ribs with traditional BBQ sauce, neither my husband or I are fond of the Peter Luger steak sauce. We ordered the French fries well done and the sautéed spinach. Another round of drinks were ordered with dinner and all of us loved our entrees, in fact, I was able to bring 1/2 my chicken and the spinach home for lunch today ( I work Sundays). Now, I have to take a moment and let you know, I had just about had it at this point! I wanted to leave, although my dining experience with regards to the food and service was fantastic 1000%, but I really had gotten such a head-ache and our son and is sweetie were ready to leave as well, because of the dining party seated behind them. But hubby and I wanted to enjoy and make the most of the little time we had with our son and his sweetie, so, we opted to order dessert and buck it up. Dessert time, 1 order of mango sorbet which came with two lady fingers, my son and his sweetheart really loved this refreshing dessert!!! Hubby had the Crème Brûlée and in case you don't know, if it's on the menu, hubby orders it, I love it too, but I prefer first choice, Lavender or Cafe au Lait Crème Brûlée. But if there is chocolate...I am ordering it. For this night, I chose the flourless chocolate cake, rich, creamy and oh so decadent, if you love chocolate-truffles, this is for you, I was in heaven. Our server was fantastic, attentive and polite, god bless you , because that loud group was also his table. ***** Here We Go**** What was NOT Polite were the 6 people (3 husbands & 3 wives) who had zero ZERO comprehension on the etiquette on the use of inside voices while dining or the most simplest of considerations given, to the other diners around them, even the people in the main dining room, were shooting looks their way- When I tell you, this group was Oblivious, they would have been the picture in the dictionary above the word "Oblivious". We were sitting in the back dining area with the fireplace- beautiful and quaint, lovely space for dining, but this group was so loud- I'm talkin' Decibel concert loud- Even KISS had the common decency to turn down their volume at their 1984 Ottawa concert due to local noise complaints. Think I'm lying- let's go to the restaurant cameras- shall we, the tale of the tape so to speak... The hostess actually walked a couple to the 4 top table next to them as there are only 4 tables in this back room, they heard this group and said "Nope" literally, didn't even wait for the hostess, and walked out to another table in the restaurant. Then a group of 3 young ladies were seated at the 4-top next to us and they actually ate in silence for the most part because- well, hearing each other talk was quite an impossible. One looked at me, then gave me the "look" you know, the look that you hold with a bestie- that's a whole conversation in-itself and you both know what each of you is saying, without speaking a word? ya, that! Like: Do you hear these people? How can you not? Connecticut can hear these people! WTF?! I doubt these ladies enjoyed their meal. For the 4 of us, the whole dinner experience we were pretty much leaning across our plates to have basic civil conversation, the group was so rude, the only time they literally SHUT UP was when they were shoveling food into their pie holes, example the sushi appetizers. I was surprised the one gal didn't choke, she was spittin' sushi rice out of her mouth when she was chewing, talking and cackling. Chew w/ the mouth closed. I even told the hostess on the way out, the food/service exceptional but the people in that room with us, shameful. 5-Stars for the food, drinks and impeccable service I am not sure who Danny is, or if he was there while we were dining, but I think that his restaurant is fabulous, my husband and I will definitely be back, because despite the issue w/fellow diners, you cannot deny the food is incredible & staff fantastic.

Went here for dinner last night. Going to Danny's is always nice because the owner lives upstairs and is always walking around making sure customers are enjoying themselves. It was rib night on Sunday night. Usually a half rack of ribs are $27 but on Sunday's they're only $17!! Burrata had great flavor. Mussels were huge and delicious. Four stars because the roll with filet mignon wasn't very good - filet mignon was way too peppery.
